The Invisible War

Equality is something western civilization has wanted for a long time. Equality between men and women. Equality in salaries, job possibilities, career prospects. Equality, however, is difficult to obtain in areas dominated by men. You'd think that the army, police academy, marines and even church are places more and more open to women. Open they might have been, but just they most certainly are not. It's a very important documentary, giving voice to those who were hurt, raped and humiliated by higher rank officials. In the world of mobbing, sexual abuse and discrimination, we should listen to these voices, as among them there might be more accounts of such traumatic experiences, of our friends, daughters, and workmates. It's easy to be indifferent, once the situation doesn't concern you. The Invisible War.

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
