When vampires are there to wipe out the human race from the surface of the Earth, there must be someone who will try to do exactly the same to the vampire specimen. In times when the difference between being born a vampire and being turned into a vampire has an influence on your class division, the way you die and factors you are immune to, there is a hero who miraculously can meet all our expectations. Saturated in early noughties' technology, surprising in the amount and variety of special effects there is a trilogy of vampire adventures. With each new film the circumstances are getting more serious, fangs usurp the most extraordinary shapes and sizes, and the hero has some new friends or enemies, either keeping him alive or bringing him on the verge of death. But what death means to someone who to some extent is already dead? Blade.

On the nature of pictures
