When you think of it, the progress we have made over the centuries is amazing. We learned how to survive in the most dangerous conditions, we built buildings which almost touch the clouds, we managed to cross continents within hours and drain holes in the ground kilometers under the surface. Distant planets seem to be closer, 3d printers available for the masses and artificial intelligence within the reach of our scientist. But the way was long, the education tiresome, and we needed one or two brilliant minds along the way. One of these minds apparently helped us descend the trees and stand on our own two feet. Enjoy.

On the nature of pictures
