The Scandalous Lady W

I think we don't fully appreciate the achievements of feminist movements, equality of sexes and possibility of divorce. Still, if you are a woman, every day at work you have to prove that you are good enough and you have to be at your best not only in front of men, but women also seem to be against you, waiting for your tiniest mistake. But if we went back a century or two things looked entirely different for us as a sex. And shedding the nightmare of an unhappy marriage, cruelty and mistreatment were another nightmare: of hopelessness, public humiliation and the fear of never being able to rebuild your life again. The Scandalous Lady W, for some an epitome of condemnation, for others an example of courage and self-respect in times when men were the owners, the masters and the settlers of rules.

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
