Edward Scissorhands

This one's a classic. Once there was a boy created in a Pinocchio-like manner, soon abandoned by the father, a boy who desperately tried to fit in.   A boy with scissors instead of hands and very limited knowledge of the human nature. In a pastel picture-perfect suburbia there were people seduced by his abilities and uniqueness. It was a community which at first idolized outcasts, to ultimately reject them for being different. Doesn't it ring a bell?
We love geniuses, artists, and madmen. They upgrade us, make us seem more educated, interesting, sophisicated, and better. And it's not them who matter but the way they make us feel in the world of fake value, egoistic intentions, and riddiculous life goals. But do we really accept them?
An allegory of modern American society and an outcast who really deeply craved for love. Enjoy.

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
