Breaking up is hard. We devote so much energy to build and maintain a relationship that when it's finally over, we feel that we lost time, money and self-esteem. The problem is that when we like someone we try to pretend that we are better, wiser or more attractive. Pretending all the time is impossible and all of a sudden we might not meet the expectations. We end up being not witty enough, not career-oriented enough, or not talented enough to be enough for a lifetime. A relationship is not a profession. There are ups and downs and it's sometimes better to feel at ease with someone than stand on the tips of your toes for the rest of your life. It's nice to be accepted for who you are. An uplifting comedy about love from the Netherlands. Ja ik wil!

On the nature of pictures
