The Matrix

We waged various wars. Some of them started because of a woman, some began due to religious conflicts, others sprang out of individual ambition to conquer and dominate. Recently, we have witnessed the war of terror with few open conflicts but many individual cases of bomb explosions, hijacked planes, and trucks running into innocent trespassers of the wrong place and the wrong time. The world is changing and the way war is conducted has also changed, proving that feelings of fear, hatred, aggression, and revenge are never put to sleep. Technology also revolutionized our lives to the extent that we live double lives, one online, another in real life, leaving our ability to put food on the table at the mercy of online banking. The lines between the two worlds are getting blurry. Maybe our future is also to be programmed as a programme and deal with machines of their own intelligence?
A phenomenon of the Matrix, one internet hacker's destiny to become the savior of the hopeful waiting for the end of the war. A still unrepeated achievement of technology where everything is possible, a philosophical fable about the power of faith and control of your choices, and one of the most passionate, reliable, and caring relationships pictured in the science fiction film history. Leaving us obsessed for years, 1999's film, followed by 2003's The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
