There were times when England had its colonies all over the world, its ports were on every continent, its fleet was storming the sees and oceans shipping goods, people, and precious metals. Of course, not everybody in this huge water enterprise could remain on the side of good. There were those who wanted to rob, steal, rape, and plunder: the evil tricksters of wide open waters: pirates. Among the legends of the dark sees, mermaids, lonely sailors dreaming of the company of beautiful women, hierarchies of the marine service, they were unlawful enough to raise fear and respect thanks to their practical skills and scandalous crimes. And once Hollywood actually bet on the pirates making a series of films filled with uplifting music, adventure, and extreme duels in a beautiful background of tribal islands. Films dense with adventure, which boasted female characters who didn't only pose and wear dresses but equaled men and fought a battle for their true love. More entertaining with every film, full of memorable characters, megahit series Pirates of the Caribbean.

On the nature of pictures
