One of the most shocking films of recent years shows us how cruel we can be as people, how bullying at school might affect one fragile and innocent girl and how still strong is prejudice towards people who are new, different, other. Sex, drugs, alcohol, trips abroad - in times where everything is available who is there to set the limits and tell the right from wrong? And who is able to bring up the young generation, when the only thing you can feel is an enormous amount of rage?

On the nature of pictures
