You're lucky if you were born with the sex you feel truly attached to. The transition might be painful and demand the adjustment of your family and friends. What if your parent decides to change sex? What if you find it difficult to cope with the new situation as the support which you are given seems to be inadequate? What if sex, sexuality, and adulthood are something so layered and complicated it's sometimes too overwhelming? A deep, strong and thought-provoking film on being a parent and a child. The change of sex might be a small problem among the ones which life will bring along.

On the nature of pictures
