About a Boy

04:48:00

There are some cult comedies which are worth being reminded of. Is a man an isolated island in the ocean of hostile individuals? Are we there to be alone and die alone or do we need bonds to keep us together? Does the family still matter or should we build units consisting of only two people? What if your one and only comrade up to this day were your husband/wife and after divorce, you realize you have no friends to talk to and no one to support you in times of mental breakdown? How many people around us do we really need and is loneliness an inseparable part of our lives? Can we really be alone? About a Boy - a classic fable of an insensitive and egocentric bloke.

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
