The Talented Mr. Ripley

Isn't it frustrating when there's somebody who has everything you don't? It seems to be a mischevious giggle of fate when you are born in poverty, with no chances for education and career and there are those who, having it all, squander their parents' wealth, cheat their beautiful woman, and waste their life away. Nothing is yet lost. Having a bit of luck and talent for impersonating others can help you jump a few steps of the social career ladder and enjoy the life of privilege. But can your obsession with the bold, beautiful and well-to-do turn into an avalanche of irreversible deeds and a paranoid escape from being caught? Can you love someone so much that you can literally take their place in the world? Italy in the background, The Talented Mr. Ripley

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
