The Killing of a Sacred Deer

There are families which cultivate the love and passion for a vocation. Families of lawyers, doctors, actors, artists. Growing up in such a family always erases the lines between private and public life. You don't know if you're at work or if work absorbed your life, love, sex and the upbringing of your children to the extent of madness. You buy a little guitar for a football fan, you plan your children's education years in advance even though they barely can read and write, you take Cartoon Network obsessed youngsters to art galleries, and you disapprove other lifestyles, limiting any potential choices. Imagine a family which was so deep in its ways that it didn't notice the immediate danger and took fascination for a mortal threat. Medically disturbing, The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Enjoy.

On the nature of pictures

*Every Google image belongs to someone and this someone should be noted. However, if pictures are scenes from the film they most probably belong to owners of the film/producers. I use saved screens of the Google compilation of pictures, thus the pictures of pictures, which I take, cut and edit myself (as a derivative use). They are used for reviewing purposes (fair use), not for diminishing the films' profits by stealing what rightly belongs to them. Copyright is tricky, let's get used to it.
